Deck RemodelCompleted

With this deck remodel we completely demoed the existing deck and started from the ground up. We are relocating the stairs, making them wider and bringing it in about a foot to give a tree room to grow. We are so close to being done and it has been great seeing it come together. Take a look and tell us what you think!

Total House Remodel

MJV Carpentry has been busy at work doing a complete remodel of an older home in Bryan, TX. The remodel has included new windows and doors throughout the house, complete bathroom remodel, building out a new closet in one of the bedrooms, installing trim, and painting the entire house. The home owners are thrilled with the final product and couldn’t be happier with MJV Carpentry’s work.

Living Room Remodel including new windows, repainted walls and trim.

In the living room, one wall was simply sheet rocked, but MJV Carpentry was able to remove the sheetrock, expose some shiplap, built in a cased opening to open up the living room to the hallway and bathroom, and painted the shiplap wall and trim. “The shiplap wall adds charm and warmth that this home was missing, and the cased opening has greatly improved the entire flow of the room” (Home Owner).

This bedroom had a door that did not open and a door to the living room that was no longer needed with the new cased opening and hallway. MJV Carpentry removed the doors, closed in the openings, and made it look as though they never existed.

MJV Carpentry renovated all the closets throughout the house with new doors, sheetrock, and shelving.

The back bedroom was renovated with a new doorway, new flooring, new windows, and a newly constructed closet. “MJV Carpentry took my bedroom that was a disaster and turned into a beautiful escape!” (Home Owner)

The kitchen received a new floor, new back door, opening up the kitchen a little more, and made some minor changes to the wash area.

The bathroom was a complete remodel. After removing the tub, significant subfloor damage was found and had to be repaired before the new tub and vanity were installed. “This new bathroom has gone from my most hated room to my favorite room in the house because of the work MJV Carpentry put into it!” (Home Owner)
